Rosalia Vila is an Spanish pop and flamenco artist. Since her teen years she's embraced the edges of both classical and pop music. Additionally, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, trap and soul. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of older singers. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success making it to the top of the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately winning the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami came out as her third full-length album. It included collaborations with fellow artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The album was released in 2022 because of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. Motomami's Rosalia, who won an award for the Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
